Adorning the Mostyn gallery shop window are gigantic paper icicles, swirling paper cut-outs and intricate snowflakes, all painstakingly created and hand-crafted by Wakefield based artist Andy Singleton specially for the space.

Cape crusaders head to London in search of gold

Together with lead artist Sean Harris, the children, involved in the Inspire Mark Cauldrons and Furnaces Cultural Olympiad project ‘Mantell’ at Denbigh Castle, will meet British Museum curators and see the pre-historic gold cape, discovered in Mold in 1833, for the first time. ‎Cauldrons and Furnaces is part of The Power of the Flame, a Wales-wide project funded by Legacy Trust UK, an independent charity set up to create a cultural and sporting legacy from the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games across the UK.
