In its 30th anniversary year, the UK’s leading contemporary circus company NoFit State will celebrate two significant milestones in the company’s history as it performs the Asian and North American Premieres of its internationally-acclaimed show, Bianco. The company performs at the Queen Elizabeth Stadium, Hong Kong (17 – 21 February) and at St Ann’s Warehouse, New York City (3 – 29 May).

Education Minister Huw Lewis will visit a Tonteg school today (Monday 8 February) that is adopting a creative approach to learning by taking numeracy out of the classroom.

Swansea's Three Night Blitz was the worst sustained bombardment during the whole of the war in Wales and devastated the city. Over three nights in February 1941, 230 people were killed and over 400 were injured by incendiaries and bombs dropped by the Luftwaffe over a city illuminated by a full moon and covered in a dusting of snow.
The New Welsh Writing Awards 2016: University of South Wales Prize for Travel Writing has opened for entries on 19 January 2016 and closes at midnight on Sunday 3 April 2016.

British Dance Edition, the biennial showcase for British Dance, is being hosted in the Welsh capital city of Cardiff and its neighbouring city Newport, between 15 and 18 March 2016.
