Celebrating the impact of heritage and culture on young people’s lives
Welcome and introduction by Rt Hon the Lord Elis-Thomas AM, Minister for Culture, Tourism and Sport, Welsh Government
Young people will highlight the powerful impact that actively designing and participating in cultural and heritage events, exhibitions, and projects can have. The event will be co-curated and delivered by young people, working with cultural bodies including Amgueddfa Cymru-National Museum Wales, Arts Council Wales, Cadw, Literature Wales and others. It is aimed at:
• cultural and heritage organisations
• organisations delivering services with/for young people
• practitioners working with young people through culture and heritage
• policy makers and funders
The event is free. Please register your interest with cyfuno-fusion@gov.wales before September 30th 2018 to ensure a place. More details will be shared closer to the date.
This event is supported by the Welsh Government’s through its innovative Fusion: Creating Opportunities through Culture programme, which places empowerment through cultural participation as one of its central aims.
